70% Decrease in number of policemen killed in KPK as compared to first six months of 2014

According to a report on DAWN.com there has been a 70% decrease in the killing of Policemen in Khyber PukhtoonKhwa of Pakistan. Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province has been on the front line of war against terror. That is why operations against terrorism has always directly affected KPK province. This province has been the easiest target for terrorist who have been operating in the Federally Administrated Tribal Area as It is the only province which has borders attached with FATA.

The top target of these attacks were the police force as they are the first line of defense in civil spaces. According to Dawn.com at least 203 policemen were killed in 2012, followed by 126 in 2013, 102 in 2014 and 27 in 2015.

The data suggests a great decrease in the death of Police officers martyred in terrorist attacks. This clearly directs us to the fact that Operation Zarb-e-Azab is successfully being done.  In addition to the efforts of Pakistan Army in Operation Zarb-e-Azab the policies of present government of KPK is clearly bringing a positive change to the situation of Khyber PakhtoonKhwa.
