Ehtisab commision of KPK which was established by the
recent govt of PTI has arrested the KPK minister for minerals development along
with 9 others including a former provincial minister of PPP on the
charges of corruption and misuse of authority,
According to the officials
According to NAB spokesperson, the officials are accused
of leasing out five hundred acres of land belonging to the Ministry for Mines
and Mineral for just Rs14,000. The accused also illegally extracted natural
resources weighing 50,000 ton, causing millions of rupees loss to the national
exchequer.In May, in a major move against corrupt officials, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
Ehtesab Commission arrested former provincial excise and taxation minister
Liaquat Shabab in a case related to alleged illegal assets.

He was arrested two days ago but the news was disclosed
today.
